DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 20, 2019) — Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has had a year full of breaking new ground. Last winter we acquired Rebuilding Together QC and for the first time began operating a Home Repair & Ramp Program under the Habitat banner.

The acquisition of another non-profit with a similar mission was one that allowed us to eliminate administrative costs while increasing our capacity to serve more people. This could not have happened at a better time as the spring brought record setting flooding to our area.

This fall, with flood repairs in full swing, Habitat became the lead organization managing flood repairs and we hired  a staff person to coordinate the various projects.

2019 has been a year full of firsts, new beginnings and breaking new ground. We remain steadfast in our mission to bring people together to build and renovate homes, to revitalize our community and to restore hope.

From bringing neighborhoods together, to empowering a family to escape poverty, ensuring a safe home and allowing seniors to age in place, Habitat is there to assist with the needs of Quad City families.

But we can’t do it without your support.

Please consider making an annual or monthly gift to Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities so that we can continue our work to bring, strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
