University of Wisconsin-Whitewater held its spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Kachel Fieldhouse

WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (July 13, 2026) — Hannah Gault from Moline, Illinois, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at 2026 spring commencement ceremonies held in May.

Gault graduated Summa Cum Laude with the following degree: Elementary Middle Education — BSE.

Degrees were conferred to more than 1,730 May and August graduates on May 16 at Kachel Fieldhouse inside the Williams Center in Whitewater. Included in the graduates earning degrees were 109 students who are veterans, twelve international students, and 204 non-traditional undergraduate students, defined as undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. In addition, 154 self-identified students with disabilities received degrees.

First-generation college students among the graduates stand as they are acknowledged. UW-Whitewater at Rock County held its spring commencement ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in the gymnasium of Wells Cultural Center

A total of 116 students earning Associate degrees were recognized May 19 at the Wells Cultural Center on the Rock County campus in Janesville.

A total of 215 students participated in the university's Hired Before Graduation campaign, which celebrates students who landed a job, earned a job promotion, were accepted to graduate school, or started their own business before commencement.
