Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, commemorates the re-dedication of the
Holy Temple in Jerusalem after the Jews regained their independence from the Syrian-Greeks in 165 B.C.E.
Hanukkah 2017 begins at sundown on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, and ends at sundown on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.  
Jenny Kitsis will be bringing a special Hanukkah gift - a battery operated, LED Flameless Candle - to the the seniors of our community from the Jewish Federation.
