DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 13, 2019) — Delve into the history of the book with Daniel Marcel La Corte on Saturday, March 23, at 2PM at Main (321 Main St). La Corte will explore the book from a historian's perspective. This presentation is associated with the Traveling History of the Book Exhibit.

Daniel Marcel La Corte, a History professor at St Ambrose University, likes to see the interaction between culture and religion, institutions of governance and legal history, as well as to explore the classical roots to our modern culture. He specializes in early- and high-medieval monastic culture and spirituality.
