Davenport, IA – On Aug 30th, approx. 100 Veterans, including 6 WWII veterans, will travel to Washington, D.C to visit the monuments dedicated to their service and sacrifice. This is the 10th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities that area Hy-Vee stores have sponsored.
On Wednesday, Aug 29th, Hy-Vee is hosting a pre-flight dinner for these veterans, a guest and their guardians.
Please join us prior to the dinner for a celebration in front of Northgate Place to welcome these veterans. Talk with the WWII veterans and all veterans about the passing of Senator John McCain. Learn about the special ceremony that will take place in Washington for Senator McCain.
