MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 20, 2019) — Ridgecrest Village proudly presents their sponsorship of the 50th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. The flight is set for takeoff on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from the Quad Cities Municipal Airport and head to Washington DC. Upon arrival, the veterans and guardians will be taken to different memorials where their service has been honored.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 18, 2019) — League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council 10 and LULAC Youth Council 600 will honor Quad-Cities men and women who have served in the military or served the community as first-responders. This is held during the Closing Ceremony of National Hispanic Heritage Month annual wreath-laying for each military branch and first-responders on the Mississippi River.

FORT McCOY, WISCONSIN (September 10, 2019) — A military Retiree Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, October 5, 8:30AM-12:30PM, at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. Retirees from all branches of the armed forces and their family members/guests are eligible to attend to receive updated information about retiree entitlement-programs.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 10, 2019) — On September 12, approx 100 Veterans, including 2 WWII  and 13 Korean veterans, will travel to Washington DC to visit the monuments dedicated to their service and sacrifice. This is the 11th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities that area Hy-Vee stores have sponsored.
