On Saturday, May 25th, at the Isabel Bloom Moline Studio, 1505 River Drive, 10AM–1PM, artist Donna Young will be on hand to sign sculptures purchased with all proceeds to benefit the local military community through Chapter support.

WQUD-FM 107.7 Vintage Radio’s third annual “Stuff for the Troops” drive has already shipped 228 “We Care Packages” overseas to U.S. Troops serving in all branches of our military in appreciation of their service this holiday season. A project that started small has grown to raise over $10,000 in monetary and item donations and will reach this year’s goal of sending over ONE TON of goods to the troops this year.

– In honor of Veterans Day, Bereskin Gallery & Art Academy offers a slideshow tour of four European countries and locations familiar to World War II veterans. Landscape photographer Barry Sharp returns to the Quad Cities for a special presentation that contrasts historical and contemporary photos.
