Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack announced today that he will be hosting an U.S. Service Academy Day on SATURDAY, April 14th at the Bettendorf Library. At the Service Academy Day, the Navy, Air Force and Army, along with University of Iowa’s Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC, will have representatives available to meet with students and their families about enrolling and attending a Service Academy.

Jason Morin, Army Sustainment Command Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, will present the next installment in the World War I lecture series entitled “Trench Warfare.” The lecture will take place at Eastern (6000 Eastern Avenue) on Wednesday, March 14 at 6:00pm.
