WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) introduced bipartisan legislation along with Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) to restore veterans’ Second Amendment rights. Under current practice, once the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) assigns a fiduciary to help a veteran manage benefit payments, the VA will report that veteran’s name to the National Criminal Instant Background Check System (NICS), commonly known as the national gun ban list.

SPRINGFIELD, IL (01/17/2018) (readMedia)-- Springfield, Ill. – The Illinois Army National Guard announced Jan. 16 that Col. Eric Little of Springfield, Illinois, was selected to serve as the National Guard Bureau Deputy Director of Programs, Analysis and Evaluations and will be promoted to brigadier general.

Little has served as the Illinois Army National Guard's Chief of Staff since March 2016.
