BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 10, 2019) — On September 12, approx 100 Veterans, including 2 WWII and 13 Korean veterans, will travel to Washington DC to visit the monuments dedicated to their service and sacrifice. This is the 11th Honor Flight of the Quad Cities that area Hy-Vee stores have sponsored.
On Wednesday, September 11, at Isle Casino Hotel (1800 Isle Parkway, Bettendorf, IA 52722), 4-5PM, Hy-Vee is hosting a pre-flight dinner for these veterans, a guest and their guardians.
Please join us prior to the dinner to talk with the veterans and the special groups that are on this flight. Learn about the changes Hy-Vee has made to this dinner and the message Honor Flight would like to extend to women veterans.
