AURORA, ILLINOIS (September 21, 2023) — The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is pleased to announce it has released a Request for Proposals for fundraising services. The solicitation is open for bidding until 2PM CST on October 10, 2023 to firms with experience generating private philanthropic funds to support master plans.

Since its inception, the primary role of the Academy has been to offer a uniquely-challenging education for students talented in the areas of mathematics and science. IMSA’s three-year residential academy delivers early college academics, captivating early career exposure, peer-learning, and an appreciation of diversity and cultures. Because the IMSA student body is representative of the state, and is devoted to equitable outcomes that challenge the status quo, the Academy recruits students who are overachieving in their home school or who aspire to break from challenging circumstances, but are lacking the resources and opportunity to reach new heights. The nurturing of these students by way of an IMSA education has a financial, preparation, and inspirational pay-off, including college-level courses, research, internship, and entrepreneurship programs that explore the latest innovations and their impact on humanity.

IMSA falls under the auspices of the Chief Procurement Office of Higher Education for the State of Illinois. Interested parties who are a registered vendor in the Illinois Procurement Gateway can request to download the RFP document #IMSA24027 from the Illinois Procurement Bulletin at procure.stateuniv.state.il.us/.
