MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 29, 2024) — Hosted by the National Street Rod Association (NSRA), the inaugural Quad Cities Street Rod Nationals is set to take place at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa, on August 16-17, 2024.

This two-day event, among a roster of eight other divisional events, is a fantastic addition to the largest NSRA event of the year, the Street Rod Nationals held annually in August in Louisville, Kentucky. With a membership of approximately 40,000 nationwide, the NSRA stands as a pivotal force in the street-rodding industry.

All NSRA events across the country are open to vehicles thirty years old and older and over time have mirrored the ever-changing world of street rodding. Events now feature the timeless pre-1949 street rods and hot rods, an assorted array of custom-built vehicles, muscle cars, and nostalgic retro-futuristic creations spanning the decades from the 1950s through the mid-1990s.

Festivities for the Inaugural NSRA Quad Cities Street Rod Nationals kick off on Friday, August 16, with gates opening at 8AM and the commercial exhibit building welcoming visitors at 9AM. Evening entertainment will feature The Night People, 7-10PM.

A highlight of the event is the Pinstripe Icons booth, where local and visiting pin-stripers will decorate items such as valve covers and purses. These unique pieces will be auctioned off on Friday, August 16, and Saturday, August 17, with all proceeds benefiting the Quad Cities Humane Society.

Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy a variety of food vendors and music from Nick Donovan’s Rockin’ Road Show. Midwest Rod and Restoration, based in Wapello, Iowa, will be showcased as the Spotlight Builder, presenting some of their latest creations.

The NSRA will partner with the Quad Cities Cruisers and the Pontiac Car Club — Black Hawk Chapter, who will assist with several aspects of the show. The weekend culminates with the Circle of Winners on Saturday, August 17, featuring musical entertainment by 3 Day Rain, 1-5PM, followed by the award ceremonies at 5:30PM.
