DES MOINES, IOWA (May 6, 2019) — Iowa Democratic Party Chairman Troy Price released the following statement in response to David Young’s announcement to run for Congress in IA-03:
“Iowa voters already rejected Congressman Young once and they will do it again. Health-care remains the number-one issue to voters, and David Young has shown time and again he wants to kick millions off their health insurance and remove protections for pre-existing conditions. Representative Cindy Axne has finally restored the voice of Iowans to this seat, and that is why she will be re-elected in 2020.”
