JOHNSTON, IOWA (January 15, 2020) — IPTV Presents Conversations with Presidential Candidates Hosted by DMACC continues Saturday, January 18 at 11:45AM at the Building 6 auditorium at DMACC's Ankeny campus with Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. This Iowa PBS series of presidential candidate forums is hosted in collaboration with Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).

The program centers on the candidates' platforms, concerns, and future plans for our state and our nation. Each forum features a single candidate in one-on-one conversation with Iowa Press host David Yepsen, who engages in an unbiased and impartial discussion on the economic future of the country, followed by questions from the audience.

Each forum will be recorded live for streaming and statewide broadcast. Viewers can livestream IPTV Presents Conversations with Presidential Candidates Hosted by DMACC with Pete Buttigieg on iowapbs.orgYouTube and Facebook. The program will premiere on statewide Iowa PBS Sunday, January 19, at 1PM, and be rebroadcast on Monday, January 20, at 10PM.

The IPTV Presents Conversations with Presidential Candidates Hosted by DMACC with Pete Buttigieg is free and open to the public with doors opening at 10:45AM. Those interested in attending must register for free tickets through DMACC. Attendees should plan to arrive no later than 11:35AM to be seated prior to the recorded discussion; no entry will be allowed after 11:40AM.

On January 1, 2020 Iowa Public Television became Iowa PBS. This candidate series will retain its name and logo for any future conversations scheduled with candidates prior to the 2020 Iowa caucuses.
