Johnston, Iowa - Iowa Public Television is proud to be the home for Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Championships. The 2017 IGHSAU Iowa Farm Bureau Girls State Soccer Championships at the James W. Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines will be broadcast LIVE on statewide Iowa Public Television. Teams from across the state will compete for their respective class titles. Live coverage as follows: Saturday, June 10 11:00 a.m.     Class 1A 1:30 p.m.     Class 2A 4:00 p.m.     Class 3A Each game will also be live streamed on Facebook and at Iptv.org. Connect with fans on social media using #IPTVSports. During soccer coverage, IPTV will air exclusive highlights on track runner and long-jumper Valerie Welch of Iowa City West High School, middle distance runner Joy Ripslinger and multi-sport athletes Carly King and Liz Fennelly, all of Davenport Assumption High School, and Johnston High School softball player Brooke Wilmes.
