DES MOINES, IOWA (November 23, 2021) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate will present the 2021 Carrie Chapman Catt Award to Valley Lutheran School in Cedar Falls and Grundy Center High School on Monday, November 29. The award goes to any school that registers at least 90% of eligible students to vote. Both schools surpassed the mark during the 2020-21 school year.

Valley Lutheran School qualified for the award for the second year in a row, registering 100% of eligible students both years.

This was Grundy Center High School’s first time qualifying for the award.
