DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 17, 2025) — The Davenport IowaWORKS office is hosting a Health Expo on Thursday, June 26th at NorthPark Mall (north of Food Court), 2-4:30PM. IowaWORKS Occupational Projections Data indicates that nine of the ten careers slated for rapid growth are in the health-care industry.
“We feel that it is important for our community to have access to opportunities and information in the health-care industry,” said Mark Holloway, Career Planner.
This event will be more than a job fair. It is an opportunity for attendees to learn about the services that are available in the community to help maintain a healthy lifestyle, seek health-care employment, and educational information.
Information on Behavior Health, Tobacco Cessation, and Chiropractic Care as well as health screenings will be available.
The event is a hands-on experience. Attendees will leave better equipped to understand and take charge of their health.
