Beginning april 2019, ISVMA members now have preferred access to TITAN’s suite of controlled-substance compliance and anti-diversion products and services

SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS (April 23, 2019) — The Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association (ISVMA) and TITAN Group are pleased to announce a strategic partnership designed to provide ISVMA members with access to TITAN’s suite of compliance-services designed to reduce risk, remediate issues, and educate personnel regarding the various controlled-substance challenges and compliance-requirements facing the veterinary industry. The ISVMA/TITAN partnership seeks to create solutions for ISVMA members to operate more securely and compliantly according to state and federal regulations.

With over three decades of experience in DEA-compliance, state regulatory-compliance, and drug-related criminal-investigations, TITAN’s team of experts are trained to help veterinary practices reduce risk and shine a light on vulnerabilities. TITAN’s compliance solutions have been implemented into numerous veterinary facilities, ranging from private practices to large medical-centers, corporate consolidators, and veterinary supply-chain distribution.

“Every veterinary practice that handles controlled substances is at risk for theft,” said TITAN Founder and CEO Teitelman. “Internal threats such as employee-theft, and external threats like doctor-shopping, continue to increase. Unfortunately, many unsuspecting practices remain in the dark until their drugs are stolen or missing, which is why now more than ever the veterinary industry must be vigilant about controlled-substance compliance.”

“Our members depend on the services and representation provided by the ISVMA,” states ISVMA Executive Director, Debbie LaKamp. “Through our partnership with TITAN Group, we hope to jumpstart a greater emphasis on controlled substance compliance throughout the Illinois veterinary community. Access to TITAN’s services and expertise provides ISVMA members with the education and resources to better protect their practices and achieve ongoing success.”

ISVMA is Illinois’ premier veterinary medical-association. The organization predicts, monitors, and confronts issues that affect the professional practice and licenses of Illinois veterinarians. Its membership-base consists of about 2,500 veterinarians, veterinary students, and Certified Veterinary Technicians throughout the State of Illinois.

The ISVMA/TITAN partnership will enhance member-benefits by offering exclusive, “members-only” discounts on DEA Risk Inspections, Regulatory Compliance Audits, and online-training. Access to educational resources including webinars, industry-accredited CLE courses, and compliance-training modules are also available under the partnership umbrella.

The ISVMA/TITAN partnership will provide members with exclusive benefits, including:

  • Cost-Savings: discounted pricing on TITAN services, such as DEA inspections, audits and remediation;
  • Education & Training: educational resources, including webinars, workshops, live-stream events, and training; and
  • Events: joint events wherein members may access TITAN’s team of experts one-on-one.

“In working with ISVMA, we are now providing controlled-substance compliance-solutions to its members who have been impacted by issues ranging from drug-diversion to excessive penalties and fines for non-compliance”, said former DEA Special Agent and TITAN Group Vice President of Operations Andy Eiseman. “We look forward to working with ISVMA by helping members ‘TITAN UP’ on security and compliance.”
