DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 12, 2019) —The Red Cross of the Quad Cities is assisting a Davenport family after their home was damaged by fire Monday evening. Davenport Fire District Chief Joe Smith says crews were dispatched to a structure fire in the 4100 block of Santa Fe Trail shortly before 4:30PM Monday. The first company to arrive on scene reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the mobile home. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, but the mobile home sustained heavy smoke and fire damage.

Two adults, 1 child, and a dog were out of the home before the arrival of Davenport Fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
