Junior Achievement of the Heartland is celebrating seventy years of helping local students prepare for what’s next. Since 1956, we’ve connected students with hands-on experiences that build skills, confidence, and connections to succeed in school, work and life.
Today, JA serves more than 60,000 students across 24 counties in eastern Iowa and western Illinois through programs that bring learning to life through real-world experiences, volunteers, and community partnerships. From Junior Achievement BizTown and Junior Achievement Finance Park to classroom programs and career exploration experiences, JA helps students take meaningful steps toward greater economic mobility.
As we celebrate seventy years, we’re looking ahead to what’s next and continuing to build opportunities that prepare the next generation for a changing world.
