The Scott County 4-H held their annual Fun Night on Saturday, January 28 at the Mississippi Valley fairground. This event is held every year to give recognition to the leaders and present County awards to 4-H members in several categories. Everyone enjoyed the banquet, raffle, and trivia games.

The Alumni Award was presented to Angie Keeney and 4-H Honorary Award was presented to Lanette Paper.

4-H clubs in Scott County empower youth to reach their full potential through youth-adult partnerships and research-based experiences. We prepare Iowa’s youth to be successful, contributing members of society.

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
