DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 24, 2026) — Kevin Randle, a Democrat and longtime community advocate, has officially announced his candidacy for the Scott County Board of Supervisors. Randle’s campaign centers on expanding opportunity and strengthening public services to ensure Scott County remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Key priorities for Randle include increasing access to affordable housing, supporting responsible economic development, protecting local water quality, and ensuring high quality, publicly accountable county services.
“I care deeply about this community, and I’m running to help make sure everyone in Scott County can enjoy a good quality of life. I’m confident I can bring practical, effective solutions to the issues we’re facing,” Randle said.
Randle brings five years of experience as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist and Analyst for the City of Davenport, providing data-driven support for planning and public service operations. He also serves as President of AFSCME Local 887 and sits on the executive board of the Quad City Federation of Labor, where he advocates for good jobs and fair wages.
Randle holds degrees in Urban and Regional Planning and Political Science and is completing an MBA in 2026. His experience and education make him a uniquely qualified candidate for the Board of Supervisors.
