What: KIDS AGAINST HUNGER packing event

When: Saturday, March 4th at 3:00 p.m.

Where: Asbury UMC

1809 Mississippi Blvd.

Bettendorf, Iowa

The children and young people have a passion regarding hunger around the world and have organized this event to pack at least 18,000 meals !! Over 150 have registered for this event, representing youth from the greater QC.

Having raised the needed funds to purchase the supplies/food….now they look forward to putting on their’ gloves’ and have what could be called a ‘packing party’!

Even our preschoolers are packing! Their mission will be to pack special cartons of plastic eggs with Easter treats and contribute them to the Bettendorf Food Pantry.
