DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 7, 2026) — The Last Picture House proudly announces the Grindhouse Old 35mm Kung Fu Film Festival, a rare two‑day cinematic event celebrating classic, high‑energy Kung Fu cinema projected on authentic 35mm film. The festival runs Friday, April 17, through Saturday, April 18, showcasing nine action-packed Kung Fu features, live Kung Fu demonstrations, and specialty food and beverage offerings.

The festival will have events for Kung Fu and martial arts enthusiasts, those new to it and everyone in between. There will be a Free Family Mystery Movie on Saturday, April 18, 9AM. Audiences will not want to miss the opportunity to see two legendary Bruce Lee performances on original 35mm. Attendees can also enjoy live, interactive events like Kung Fu demonstrations and more.

Festival-goers are encouraged to purchase tickets individually for each screening at lastpicturehouse.com/.

Guests who attend three or more screenings over the two‑day festival will receive an exclusive festival merch item and an exclusive snack, available while supplies last.
