April 21 - 7:30pm - Mississippi River Distilling Company’s Cocktail Cinema – ‘Caddyshack’ “Cannonball coming!” What would be more fun than enjoying a delicious cocktail on the Distillery floor with a classic comedy? That's what Cocktail Cinema is all about!  They'll setup up the screen, tables, the movie, popcorn, and, of course, the cocktails. You bring your friends, some food or order a pizza. Movies are free of charge. They do not take reservations.

Saturday, April 21st, 11:00am: LeClaire Community Library - Prohibition in Eastern Iowa with author Linda McCann. Guest speaker and author Linda McCann will share how prohibiton, the 13 year perion in U.S. history that attempted to control the drinking of alcohol, affected Eastern Iowa. From farmers, to bootleggers who brought in liquor from Chicago, to visits from Al Capone, to a gun battle on a two-way highway, Eastern Iowa saw it all!

 

Tuesday, April 24th, 6:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Junior Explorers. Explore a new science theme each month at the library—April’s theme is the Sun!

Friday, April 27th, 11:00am: LeClaire Community Library - Arbor Day Celebration. Let’s Learn about TREES! We will be reading books, making crafts and more to celebrate these very special plants. Activities are best for ages 3-6, but all are welcome!
