BETTENDORF, IOWA (August 14, 2024) — Legat Architects will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate their 60th Anniversary on Thursday, August 22, 3:30PM. This ribbon-cutting will be held in conjunction with their 60th Celebration at Iron Tee Golf in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Legat Architects was founded in 1964 in a Waukegan, Illinois home and then moved into a renovated church in the same city. Over the decades, they expanded their reach, opened additional studios across the Midwest, and tackled high-profile design projects. Today, their portfolio spans over thirty countries, yet they remain committed to the communities where they live and work.

What fuels their passion for design is the desire to enhance the lives of those who use their buildings, whether it’s a special-education student finding their way, a fitness enthusiast striving for peak performance, a health-care patient seeking comfort, or a commuter rushing through their day.

Their greatest joy comes from crafting environments that their clients and employees can look upon with pride and feel inspired by. As they reflect on the past six decades of design excellence, client service, and professional development, they want to acknowledge each of their employees: You comprise the spirit of Legat Architects, and they wouldn’t be where they are today without you.
