Local Artists Will Paint at Hauberg for Fundraiser

The Rock Island Art Guild is returning to its roots in hosting an outdoor painting event at Hauberg Estate—the same place where, in 1968, the newly-formed guild held one of its earliest outdoor shows. Artists will be stationed at several locations on the Hauberg grounds in order to capture the estate from different angles. Guests are welcome to stroll the beautiful landscape and watch each artist work while enjoying summertime concessions. Each artist's finished piece will be available for purchase with proceeds from each sale benefitting both the artists and Hauberg Estate. The mansion's first floor will be open for viewing during the event. Admission is free with donations encouraged.
