DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 27, 2019) — Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Davenport Public Library (Main) by exploring a collection of materials documenting local Hispanic life in the Quad Cities. The exhibit highlights a collection on loan from a local resident and materials from the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center.  Learn about the cultural, social, and historical experiences of this vibrant community through newspaper articles, textiles, photographs, and more.

Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 to October 15 by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

The exhibit is will be displayed now to Saturday, October 19. It is free to the public.
