SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI (July 15, 2021) — Missouri State University awarded 2,954 degrees to students in spring 2021.

The commencement ceremonies took place May 13-14, 2021, at JQH Arena. The following local students earned degrees:

Emily Bruinsma of Bettendorf graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Gerontology, Summa Cum Laude in the Honors College.

Ryan Saul of Bettendorf graduated with a Master of Business Administration.

Andrew Klein of Geneseo graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Physical Education.

Alex Verschoore of East Moline graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Middle School Education, Magna Cum Laude.

Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 undergraduate credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
