DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 22, 2026) — Luana Stoltenberg has announced she is running for Scott County Supervisor, citing a commitment to responsible leadership, fiscal accountability, and open and transparent county government.

“I am excited to join a board that has been doing a wonderful job for Scott County.” Stoltenberg said.

“I believe we can continue building on that strong foundation, while making the county government even more responsive to the people we serve.”

If elected, Stoltenberg said her top priorities include working with the citizens to lower property taxes and improve transparency in county government.

“Families, homeowners, and small businesses are feeling the pressure of rising property taxes,” Stoltenberg said. “I want to work collaboratively to find responsible solutions that ease that burden while maintaining essential county services.

“County government should be open, accessible, and accountable,” she said. “The people of Scott County deserve clear communication and a voice in decisions that affect their daily lives.”

Stoltenberg looks forward to engaging with residents across Scott County in the months ahead, to listen to their concerns and share their visions for the county's future.
