ROCK FALLS, ILLINOIS (September 21, 2026) — Rock Falls Tourism and Selmi’s Family Farm are excited to announce the return of the Lumberjack Show for its sixth year on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Selmi’s Family Farm, located at 1206 Dixon Avenue in Rock Falls.
The annual event offers a full day of family-friendly entertainment, featuring the excitement and skill of Lumberjack Enterprises. Three thrilling lumberjack shows will be held at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM, with each show lasting approximately thirty minutes.
Children will also have an opportunity to get in on the action during the Interactive Lumberjack Kids’ Camp, scheduled 1:30-2PM. The hands-on experience gives kids a chance to participate and experience some of the fun of the lumberjack world.
Back by popular demand is the Women’s Skillet Throwing Competition, beginning at 2PM. Women ages eighteen and older can test their skills in this unique underhanded competition. Competitors will be divided into two age categories, with both distance and accuracy counting toward the results. The entry fee for the Skillet Throwing Competition is $5 per person. Participants may register in advance through the Rock Falls Tourism office or register at Selmi’s Family Farm on event day by 1PM. Prizes will be awarded to the top competitors.
Admission to Selmi’s Family Farm for the weekend is $10 at the gate or $9 online. Admission includes the Lumberjack Shows, Interactive Lumberjack Kids’ Camp, Women’s Skillet Throwing Competition, and all of the fun activities available at Selmi’s Family Farm.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of food and refreshments throughout the day, including hot apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies, kettle corn, Brito’s Grill, Good News Coffee, and more.
