DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 26, 2026) — Traditional holiday favorites give families more ways to enjoy the season, whether dining out or celebrating at home.

The holidays are a time for favorite foods, family gatherings and traditions around the table. This holiday season, The Machine Shed is offering two ways to enjoy a traditional holiday meal: A Thanksgiving Day buffet at the Machine Shed and Holiday Meals to Go for those celebrating at home over the holidays.

Known for home-style cooking and its commitment to honoring the American farmer, The Machine Shed brings a taste of traditional Midwest cooking to the holidays, with generous meals and familiar favorites made for sharing.

Enjoy Thanksgiving at The Machine Shed

Guests who want to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner without preparing the meal themselves can gather at The Machine Shed for a Thanksgiving Day buffet including turkey, carved ham, classic sides like Homemade Mashed Potatoes, Sage Stuffing, Corn Casserole, and more, plus our made from scratch pumpkin pie.

The buffet will be served Thursday, November 26, 10AM-3PM. Pricing is $31.99 for adults and $15.99 for children ages six through twelve. Children five and under eat free.

It’s the perfect way to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with family and friends while leaving the cooking and cleanup to someone else.

Bring Holiday Meals Home

For those who prefer to celebrate at home, The Machine Shed's Holiday Meals to Go offers a simple way to serve a traditional holiday dinner without spending hours in the kitchen.

The dinner package serves four for $119.99 and includes a choice of boneless turkey breast or traditional boneless ham, four sides, a full homemade eleven-inch Shed pie, cranberry relish, and dinner rolls. Side options include homestyle mashed potatoes and gravy, old-fashioned sweet potato casserole, sage stuffing, green bean casserole, green beans, corn casserole, and corn. Pie choices include apple, cherry, or pumpkin, with additional specialty pies available for an extra charge.

Additional entrées and sides are available for an additional cost, allowing guests to customize their meals for larger gatherings or personal preferences.

Orders must be placed at least 24 hours before pickup.  Holiday meals to go make it easier for families to enjoy a traditional meal together.

Honoring the American Farmer

Since 1978, The Machine Shed has celebrated the American farmer and the agricultural traditions that have shaped Midwest cooking. That commitment continues through its homestyle menu and holiday offerings, whether guests choose to enjoy the Thanksgiving buffet or serve Holiday Meals to Go at home. Families can count on The Machine Shed for traditional holiday favorites and a little more time to enjoy the season.
