MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 30, 2026) — Midwest Technical Institute will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 27, 12PM, to celebrate their recent expansion.
The facility is located at 3620 Avenue of the Cities in Moline.
Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) is a trade school that offers hands-on training in a variety of skilled trades programs, including welding, HVAC/R, medical assisting, dental assisting, trucking, and cosmetology.
MTI’s mission is to change lives by providing students a set of skills they can utilize to pursue a rewarding career path.
There are six campuses between the MTI and DTC brands with campuses located in Illinois, Missouri, and Mississippi.
Established thirty years ago, MTI is expanding their programs at the Moline campus through two new offerings: Basic Nursing Assisting and I/C/R Electrical Training.
