MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 5, 2021) For more than 68 years The Moline Foundation has partnered with local non-profits, community organizations, families, and individuals to fulfill their philanthropic dreams. With $38 million allocated since 1953, our generous donors have created a legacy of caring for their neighbors and our community.

The purpose of this challenge is to help create and grow endowment funds which will serve our community needs into perpetuity.

Any organization with a current endowment partner fund or wishing to establish a new fund with The Moline Foundation is eligible.

  • The match is 2:1, meaning for every two dollars an organization raises in endowment funding they will receive one from The Moline Foundation;
  • Minimum match-funds available per organization is $5,000 with a maximum of $25,000 
  • Organizations must be established and serve residents within one of the six Illinois Counties served by the Foundation or Scott County in Iowa

About The Moline Foundation

The Moline Foundation, founded in 1953, is a community foundation which provides grants to health, human services, education, community development, the arts, and other charitable organizations which benefit the citizens of Moline and the surrounding area. The Moline Foundation receives and administers charitable gifts for all citizens in a seven-county region including Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, Warren, Henderson, and McDonough Counties in Illinois, and Scott County in Iowa.
