The Hazel Van Arsdale Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in honor and memory of Hazel Van Arsdale to continue the importance of music in elementary and secondary education. Hazel Van Arsdale was an elementary school teacher in Moline School District No. 40 who encouraged her students to appreciate music and participate in music education and activities.
