Scholarship now available through The Moline Foundation
 
Scholarships will be given to graduating seniors by The Moline High School Class of '59 Scholarship Fund. The scholarship award will be paid directly to the college or university. The amount of awards and number of awards to be granted will be determined annually by the Scholarship Selection Advisory Committee.
 
Requirements: Applicants should apply online at www.molinefoundation.org. All scholarships must be submitted by midnight on Friday, March 16, 2018. All reference letters need to be mailed to The Moline Foundation, 1601 River Drive, Suite 210, Moline, Illinois 61265, with a postmark on or before March 16, 2018. Only completed applications will be considered.
 
Scholarship candidates must:
  • be a graduating senior of Moline High School, Moline, Illinois. 
  • have maintained and provide proof of a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale during the first seven (7) semesters of high school. 
  • complete essay (200 words or less) on "What do you anticipate your life to be like in 50 years?"
  • enroll on a full-time basis, (carrying a minimum of 12 hours per semester). 
  • submit a transcript and two letters of reference. 
  • have been involved in at least one service-oriented activity or organization in his or her school, community or place of worship.
