MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 27, 2026) — The Moline Public Schools Foundation invites the community to attend and support its annual Spring Celebration on Thursday, May 7, at Old Oakes Winery. This signature fundraising event helps generate critical support for the Foundation’s teacher IMPACT grant program, with all proceeds going directly back into Moline-Coal Valley classrooms.

Steffani Fielder, Executive Director of the Moline Public Schools Foundation, shared the importance of the event and its impact on local students and educators.

“The Spring Celebration is more than just a fundraiser, it is an investment in our teachers and students,” said Fielder.

“Every dollar raised helps provide innovative tools, creative learning experiences, and opportunities that may not otherwise be possible through traditional school funding.”

Through its teacher grant program, the Foundation has funded a wide range of projects throughout the district, including music instruments, translation earbuds, cooking supplies, flexible seating, classroom supplies, photography equipment, bilingual literacy programs, adaptive technology, STEM resources, life-skills classroom materials, fine motor-learning tools, student leadership programs, calmer classroom environments, and many other innovative educational initiatives.

The Spring Celebration brings together community members, local businesses, and supporters who believe in strengthening education and creating opportunities for students.

The Moline Public Schools Foundation would love community support in promoting the event and encouraging attendance.
