MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 14, 2026) — An art exhibit originally slated to be installed in downtown Monmouth is instead currently on display in the Len G Everett Gallery on the upper level of Hewes Library on the Monmouth College campus.

"We're happy that we were able to provide our gallery space for this exhibition while the Buchanan Center for the Arts is under construction," said Monmouth art professor Stacy Lotz.

The works were created by the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria's Artist Member Group.

"It's a great show with a variety of subject matters and mediums," said Lotz. "The best part of this experience has been being able to collaborate with our alum, Rebecca Quick ('21), who currently works at the BCA. Being able to spend two days working together to set up the show was a great way to start the new year."

A gallery reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held 5-7PM, January 16. The exhibit will be on display through March 6.
