DAVENPORT, 1/9/17 - The "Peace, Love & the Joy of Music: Ellis Kell Family Benefit Concert," scheduled for January 21st at the RiverCenter has already received massive support from the community. More than 680 people have responded to the Facebook event listing.

The music lineup for the evening includes: The Ellis Kell Band, The Whoozdads?, David G. Smith, The Candymakers, Lojo Russo, The Velies, The Way Down Wanderers, Rude Punch, Firesale, The Quad Cities Blues Mafia and The Curtis Hawkins Band with Ernie Peniston & Hal Reed.

Exact times for music performances will be announced the week of the event.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. and music starts at 4 p.m. in the Great Hall of the RiverCenter. There is a suggested donation of $10 per individual for admission, as well as a limited amount of reserved tables for eight including admission for $100.

Advance sales of tickets and tables close at 5 p.m. on January 20th, the day before the event. Donations will be accepted at the door for admission, but tables must be reserved by the 20th. Those advance tickets and tables can be purchased at http://bit.ly/KellFamilyBenefit.

It is encouraged to bring cash or checks for donations and the silent auction items. Only cash or checks will be accepted for raffles. Concessions are available for purchase through the RiverCenter with cash or credit card.

We invite the public to a night full of live music and appreciation for Ellis' legacy with proceeds going to the Kell family. Donations can be made at the event by participating in silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, poster sales and more.
