MOTHERHOOD MATTERS LAUNCHES TO SUPPORT QC MOMS
Davenport, IA – Sara Rausch and Susan McCloone want to change the way we think about motherhood. On July 2nd, they’ll be unveiling a new space in Davenport to serve women who are looking for complimentary care and education, wherever they are along their reproductive journey.

“Having a baby and recovering from childbirth can go so much more smoothly with a little knowledge and preparation! We want women to be educated about all of their choices and feel supported as they make the best decisions for themselves and their families,” Sara Rausch, chiropractor and Motherhood Matters co-owner explains.  Their vision is to have mothers in all stages of life giving and receiving care at Motherhood Matters’ new location, behind Fresh Thyme in Davenport. Among the services offered at Motherhood Matters will be chiropractic care, acupuncture, functional rehabilitation, prenatal, baby and me, and ashtanga yoga, hot bamboo massage therapy, doula services, and more to come.  Recognizing that moms struggle to partake in so many of these services due to childcare concerns, Motherhood Matters will also offer free child care during certain times.

Co-owner Susan McCloone is excited to offer this unique option for Quad Cities women. She shares the vision and mission for the new organization: “To inform and empower women from preconception, prenatal, postpartum and beyond, through a variety of classes, services and meetups. We believe knowledge is power, movement is vital to life, and a compassionate community is the cornerstone. Our mission is to create a community of education, wellness, and support surrounding the many stages of motherhood within the realms of mind, body and spirit.”

Rausch and McCloone will host a soft opening on Monday, July 2nd at their new location 2010 East 38th Street, STE 201B, Davenport, IA. Interested clients can schedule and receive services at that time. A community open house will take place on August 11 from noon to 2:00 pm. Learn more at www.motherhoodmatterswellness.com or find them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/motherhoodmattersqc
