“MURDERERS” OPENS THE BLACK BOX THEATRE 2017 SEASON

MOLINE, ILLINOIS – The Black Box Theatre opens its inaugural season with the comedy “Murderers” by Jeffrey Hatcher. The play is told through three stories: The Man Who Married His Mother-in-Law” with Brent Tubbs; “Margaret Faydle Comes to Town” with Nancy Teerlink and “Matching Wits with Minka Lupino” with Lora Adams. Adams is also directing the production.

Talkin’ Broadway said, “’Murderers is a delight’ - a very funny comedy with some biting satire and terrific storytelling.”

The new 60-seat theatre is located at 1623 5th Avenue, Moline, Illinois and was co-founded by David Miller and Lora Adams.

Performances are January 28, February 3, 4 and 10, 11 at 7:30 pm and Sundays, January 29 and February 5 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $16. More information and tickets can be found by visiting theblackboxtheatre.com or calling (563) 284-2350.

Next up will be the musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” based on the comic by Charles M. Schulz with Book, Music and Lyrics by Clark Gesner running March 10 - 25.
