WASHINGTON DC (April 20, 2020) — With input from the Board and the organic community, we are modifying the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) Spring Meeting 2020 to be held live online, instead of in-person. This will allow the Board to move forward with deliberations as scheduled in an open and public setting.
Four-day online meeting
Tuesday, April 21 — Public Comment Webinar Day 1 — Noon to 5PM Eastern. Thursday April 23 — Public Comment Webinar Day 2 — Noon to 5PM Eastern.
Wednesday April 29 — NOSB Public Meeting Day 1 — See agenda for times, link below. Thursday April 30 — NOSB Public Meeting Day 2 — See agenda for times, link below.
Agenda, Registration Links, and other Meeting Resources are available on the Spring 2020 Meeting Page at the NOP website.
- All of the speakers making public comments signed up in advance, and will be called on when it is their turn. Speakers will receive an e-mail with the order of comments.
- Members of the public will be able to hear the live comments, Board deliberations, and see all slides used. Only Members of the Board may ask questions.
- Video will not be used in order to maximize accessibility and minimize potential bandwidth issues for board members and the public.
All four days will be recorded and a transcript posted to the NOP website after the conclusion. Check the Meeting Page web link above for more details and updates.
