LeClaire, IA – Organizations in the Quad Cities looking for an alternative to trivia night fundraisers now have a new option--Rock n’ Roll Bingo! As their slogan says, “This isn’t your grandma’s bingo!” Rock n’ Roll Bingo fundraisers offer a fun night for groups of all ages. How it works: Instead of boring old numbers being called out in a normal game of bingo, they’ve replaced them with 20-30 seconds of the most toe-tappin’, booty wigglin’, chair dancin' sing-along songs from the past and present!
Owners Adam & Amy Warren of LeClaire started the venture about three years ago and while it was slow to take off at first, business has been booming for the last year and a half.
“We were booked every Friday and Saturday night in January, February and March. We’ve slowed down a bit for the summer but we’ve been getting a lot of calls and messages again from people wanting dates this fall and winter. I think this area is a bit saturated with trivia nights. At a Rock n’ Roll Bingo we get loud, everyone is singing, dancing, you’ll see people playing air guitar. There are little side games we’ll play and give out prizes for. It’s something so different than anything else we’ve had in this area.”
Rock n’ Roll Bingo of the Quad Cities will be hosting a VERY SPECIAL Rock n’ Roll Bingo this Sunday, August 27th as a fundraiser for owner, Amy Warren’s cousin, Sue, who has been fighting cancer. We would like to invite all local media to join us at 3:00pm to see what we do and how we do it!
The place: Leisure Time Billiards, 845 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL
Come join us for the fun!
