APPLETON, WISCONSIN (March 10, 2020) — Nick Fahrenkrug of Davenport, Iowa, performed in "The Marriage of Figaro," a comic opera staged March 5-8 by the Lawrence Conservatory's Opera Theatre department. The production was presented over four days in Stansbury Theater at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. It featured a cast of 11, plus stage and technical crews, two rehearsal pianists, a student pit orchestra, and a 14-member chorus. The show ran three hours in length, and it was double-cast, making for a massive undertaking.

Copeland Woodruff, director of Opera Studies at Lawrence, had this to say about the students involved: "It's one of the most generous casts I've worked with in a long time. They're just generous with each other as far as sharing the stage space and working with one another."
