AMES, IOWA (April 19, 2021) — Olivia Adams-Moulton, of Bettendorf, Iowa, majoring in World Languages and Cultures, was awarded the Alfred P Kehlenbeck Scholarship by the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Iowa State University at its virtual 2021 Awards Ceremony.
The scholarship is given in honor of Alfred P Kehlenbeck, chair of the department from 1950 to 1969. Kehlenbeck was a professor of German who had a great interest in all students in the department. He wanted to give special consideration to language students preparing to teach and to students studying abroad in order to strengthen their skills in their target language.
