DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 2, 2021) — Join us Friday, June 4, 2:30PM, to explore and learn about the curious world of archives and manuscripts at the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center.

June's topic is a selection of our most colorful archival materials in celebration of the Library's Summer Reading theme, Reading Colors Your World. Pigments, inks, pencils, and other writing implements and printing techniques have created a great variety of material formats and methods of recording information on different supports. We will examine materials in our collections that will help us learn more about these items and how they were made. This presentation is open to any interested in learning more about our archives and manuscript collections. This program will be held virtually using GoToMeeting. Information about how to join is listed below.
