BETTENDORF, IOWA (February 4, 2026) — Applications for Quad Cities Community Foundation scholarships are open now through February 15, 2026. Thanks to generous donors, local students can apply for more than seventy scholarship opportunities totaling over $600,000.

Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Awards are available for students across focus areas and ages, including options for high-school seniors, college students, those returning to college, and even graduate students. Recipients will be announced in May.

“Scholarships remove barriers that too often stand between students and their potential,” said Sue Hafkemeyer, president and CEO of the Community Foundation.

“Because of our donors, more students can focus on learning, building careers, and contributing back to the place they call home.”

Scholarships are available for high-school seniors as well as those who have already graduated. Students continuing their education at trade and technical schools, community colleges, and four-year institutions are all eligible.

This year, there are nine awards eligible to support graduate students. No matter a student's age or situation, there are scholarship opportunities available.

The deadline to apply for scholarships is February 15, 2026 — students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Find more information on the application process, including a recorded information session, on the Community Foundation’s updated scholarship website here: QCCommunityFoundation.org/scholarships.
