ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 13, 2019) — Join Poet Laureate Dick Stahl at Schwiebert Park in Rock island for Poetry along the Banks. This poetry workshop kicks off River Action’s Summer Education Series with a chance to explore your creativity writing poetry along the banks of the Mississippi. Cost is $5. Or free for River Action Members.

"Art Along the River", a series of art-opportunities where attendees can participate and learn about different art-forms, will be held one Sunday a month all summer and cover painting, poetry, drumming, and Reader’s Theater. Supplies provided. No prior skill or experience needed.
