National Campaign Theme: “Increasing Impact through Transparency, Accountability, and Partnerships”

Countless events around the country are planned to highlight World AIDS Day (#WAD2017). The Project of the Quad Cities has planned several events in the area, with the goals of connecting with those most at risk, raising HIV awareness and strengthening our community partnerships. We’re excited to be collaborating with a number of different organizations to commemorate World AIDS Day 2017.

Find us out in the community, on Friday, December 1, at one of our events listed below:

  • TPQC’s prevention team will be on site at Community Health Care, located at 2750 11th Street in Rock Island from 9am – 2pm providing HIV/STI testing.

  • Our afternoon site will be hosted at St. Ambrose University Wellness and Recreation Center, located at 518 W. Locust Street in Davenport. We will be partnering with the Scott County Health Department and SAU for this HIV/STI testing event. Testing will be available from 12pm – 4pm.

  • World AIDS Day 2017 is capped off with the “Queen of Hearts Masquerade Ball” at Mary’s on 2nd located at 832 West 2nd Street Davenport, IA. The event kicks off at 8pm and includes food, games, prizes and HIV testing.
