STEM SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE NEARS; APPLICATIONS DUE MAY 1 FOR THOMAS K. EVANS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The deadline is nearing for a new STEM-focused scholarship in the Quad-Cities area.

Applications are due May 1, 2018 for the Thomas K. Evans Memorial Scholarship, a $5,000 award that will go to one student entering college for the first time this fall to study science, technology, engineering or math.

The Thomas K. Evans Memorial Scholarship was created to honor its namesake, the late entrepreneur and engineer who founded American Power Systems, Inc., the Davenport-based business supporting the award.
