MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 27, 2021) — Hundreds of women (and men) are expected to attend the annual Quad Cities Go Red for Women Event on October 28, 5-8PM, to raise funds to fight heart disease and stroke, the number-one killers of women. It will be held at the Waterfront Convention Center, 2021 State St, in Bettendorf.

The event will include an engaging and entertaining program, story from a local heart survivor, a heart-healthy dinner, silent auction, and other opportunities for attendees to socialize with others. The event will feature a keynote speech by Denee Brown PC with Cardiovascular Medicine. PC Brown’s speech will offer attendees information on simple ways they can reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke.

The event begins at 5PM at Waterfront Convention Center.

Go Red for Women is nationally sponsored by CVS Health and the Quad Cities event is locally sponsored by Canadian Pacific, Cobham, Green Chevrolet, GreenState Credit Union, Kline Sewer and Drain, McCarthy Bush Corporation, Nelson Brothers Agency, Royal Neighbors, and Ruhl and Ruhl Realtors.
